As we wrap up another vibrant year at Dance Art Academy OC, we are filled with gratitude and pride for all that we have accomplished together. This year has been a testament to the power of community, partnership, and the arts in transforming lives. We are thrilled to share some of the highlights and extend our heartfelt congratulations to our partnering schools: Seed School LA, Nova Academy, Palm Lane Charter, and Sycamore Academy.

Spreading Joy with Our Toy Drive
One of the most heartwarming moments of the year was our incredible toy drive. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to make the holiday season truly special for many families. The smiles and joy we witnessed as children received their gifts were priceless. It was a beautiful reminder of the impact we can have when we come together.
Empowering Through Santa Ana Revive Grant
We were honored to receive support from the Santa Ana Revive Grant, which enabled us to further our mission of community engagement. With these funds, we created dynamic workshops and classes in African Dance and World Dance, providing our students with dance shoes and the tools they need to succeed. These initiatives not only enriched our students’ dance education but also fostered a deeper connection to cultural heritage and expression.
Supporting Our Sites and Students
We are proud to have supported our sites with over $6,000 in funding this year. These funds helped subsidize the cost of programming, impacting the lives of over 200 youth across Santa Ana, Anaheim, and LA. Our culturally responsive learning and engagement programs have been instrumental in fostering creativity, confidence, and a sense of community among our students.
Exciting New Offerings and Looking Ahead
As we look forward to the upcoming fall season, we are excited to announce the expansion of our residency offerings. This fall, in addition to our beloved dance classes such as Ballet Folklorico, Musical Theater, Hip-Hop, and Jazz, we are introducing new programs in Sports Leadership and Athletic Training, Robotics, and Entrepreneurship. These new offerings will provide our students with diverse opportunities to explore their interests and develop new skills.
Our Fall Fundraiser will kick off in September and we can’t wait to see everyone there. It promises to be an event filled with fun, community spirit, and support for our ongoing initiatives.
